A 2002 LX470 should not be ordered by model year alone
The current Lexus range includes one LX470 multimedia route listed for 1998–2002 and another for 2002–2007. That overlap does not mean the two products are interchangeable on every 2002 vehicle. The original center dashboard, navigation and climate-control layout, factory amplifier, camera system and connector route are more reliable references than the registration year alone.

Why are there two different LX470 Android routes around the 2002 model year?
Because the correct route depends on the original dashboard and factory equipment, not just the year. A 2002 LX470 should be checked from the original navigation / climate layout, audio system, camera and connectors before the version is selected.
Is every 2002 LX470 automatically compatible with both screen versions?
No. The overlap in listed year ranges is a fitment boundary, not proof that both products are interchangeable. Send the original dashboard photo and vehicle details before ordering.
How do I choose between a Lexus multimedia upgrade and a digital cockpit upgrade?

Does the Lexus LX570 digital cluster add Apple CarPlay?
No. The current LX570 2007–2017 product is a dedicated Linux digital instrument cluster. It replaces the driver-gauge display and keeps the center infotainment system separate; it is not an Android radio or CarPlay module.
Will original Lexus driving information remain available on the LX570 digital cluster?
Supported information includes speed, RPM, gear, fuel, temperature, original mileage, TPMS, supported warnings and steering-wheel menu controls after the correct matched connection and setup.
Will an LX470 Android screen work with Mark Levinson and the factory camera?
The route depends on the original audio and camera system. Mark Levinson or other factory amplification requires the correct audio interface, while factory-camera retention can require the appropriate adapter. These items should be identified before shipment.
Do Lexus upgrades require dealer-level coding?
Not as one universal rule. The supported LX470 Android route normally does not require dealer ECU programming, although CANBUS and Android-system settings may need configuration. The LX570 cluster uses its own matched setup route. Follow the exact product instructions.
